ETL Solutions Ltd (ETL), has offices in North Wales, at  Blaenau Ffestiniog and at the Technium CAST (Centre for Advanced Software Technology) in Bangor. ETL specialise in providing a data transformation and integration tool set, Transformation Manager, and services to a worldwide client base, which spans many sectors; Geoscience, Finance, Supply Chain, Defense, Public Sector etc. Services range from support and training of clients through to development of complete systems. Transformation Manager generates Java components for integration in client architectures which interface to data in various forms, messaging systems, relational databases, XML, Flat Files, SAP.

ETL are currently seeking consultants with between 6 months and 3 years commercial experience to join their client consulting team, but would also consider a graduate. ETL will provide any necessary training.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with ETL’s data integration tool set to deliver exemplary solutions
  • Input into product collateral, sales tools and marketing
  • Presenting, where needed, product features, benefits and value proposition to prospective clients, existing customers and partners in face to face or online Webex meetings

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Qualifications should include a Honours degree in software IT or related subject
  • Java programming skills are required and ideally knowledge of J2EE architectures  
  • Ideally with strong skills in databases (Oracle, DB2 or SQL), XML, operating systems (Windows, UNIX, Linux)
  • Experience of working with SAP would be valuable
  • Expertise in the middleware and/or data integration market/tools preferred
  • Strong speaking, writing, presentation and communications skills a must
  • Team player in a highly demanding environment
  • Participation in proof-of-concepts for customers, trade shows, seminars and other events, and working with channel partners
  • Travel is almost certain. 

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, pragmatic and solution oriented. They will be able to take on multiple tasks, projects and responsibilities without losing focus.
