ETL Solutions sponsors PMP Annual Consultant's Forum

The UK's leading conference for Management and IT consultants was held today in London, and ETL Solutions was there in a big way.The conference is an annual gathering of top Management and IT professional consultants, with this year's theme being "Facing tomorrow's challenges today". Greg Larsen, Head of the Financials Business Unit at ETL Solutions, spoke on the theme of Data Integration, and the challenges facing all businesses today about data. A copy of his presentation is available here. ETL's approach to Integration was focused on data instead of pure technology, which proved to be particularly appealing to the Consultants.

ETL Solutions also sponsored a booth at the show, and the interest level was high. Karl Glenn, ETL Solutions Business Development Manager, Chris Griffin, ETL's primary Technical Consultant and Greg were all swamped by the delegates interested in Transformation Manager, the unique java-code generating solution offered by ETL. ETL offered demonstrations, answered questions, and gave away copies of the software for evaluation purposes. One consultant came up to Greg and said "we're using another mapping tool, and it is extremely painful to use. We're dying for a good mapping tool." Needless to say, his interest in TM is quite keen!

All in all, ETL Solutions first major foray into the world of conferences was a major success, and many more are planned for the future... Watch this space!
