Although primarily a Welsh based company, our products and solutions are used by major international organizations around the World and our staff reflect this multi-nationality with team members from Wales, England, Spain, Poland, USA and Greece. The management team is made up of:
John Bigerstaff
Chief Executive Officer
John is a software professional with over 30 years experience in the field of real time computing, developing both project management and technical skills. He was a founder director of Prism Technologies in 1992 and led the buyout to form ETL Solutions Ltd in 2002.
He is a Chartered Engineer and Member of the Institution of Electrical Engineers. He has significant history and experience in project management and has also developed business relationships with a number of high profile clients. He is frequently a guest speaker at conferences world-wide and has played a major role in support of standards bodies, particularly within the Oil and Gas sector.
Karl Glenn
Business Development Director
Karl leads ETL’s sales and marketing organization, and is also responsible for alliances.
Karl is a Sales and Marketing professional with 15 years experience within the IT industry, providing solutions and building successful relationships with companies such as JP Morgan, Shell, Procter and Gamble, HSBC, Schlumberger, RBS, and BAT.
He also has a history of building committed and successful in-direct sales channels and in building and/or managing corporate and operational marketing and PR functions.
A founder director of ETL in 2002, Karl is a Member of the Institute of Sales Professionals.
Tony Eastwood
Chief Technical Officer
Tony leads ETL's development team and is responsible for the strategic direction of ETL's products. Tony joined ETL as one of the founder directors in 2002 from PrismTech.
Educated at Oxford, Birmingham and Western Australia (PhD entitled "Melodic transmission and stylistic development in some airs published in Paris 1695-1750"), Tony is a computer technical specialist with skills at solving complex problems in new and simple ways and his work is characterised by original algorithms and direct models of the real world. Tony’s interests in problem solving have always led him to take a direct interest in real customer problems.
