David Pilgrim - Non-Executive Chairman

David Pilgrim was commissioned from the Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst in 1960 and over the next 20 years held a number of responsible postings in the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME) in Northern Ireland, Great Britain, Middle East and Germany. After retiring as Major from H M Forces, he qualified as a Member of the Institute of Chartered Electrical Engineers and entered the engineering industry, joining R R Donnelly and Sons in Chicago, as Vice President of Engineering, Research and Development. Between 1984 and 1999, David has also held various Chief Executive positions and Non-Executive Directorship roles within IT-based engineering companies before joining ETL Chairman in 2006. Equipped with a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, a Masters degree in Computer and Systems Engineering and an MBA in Technology Management, David is now the Non-Executive Chairman of ETL Solutions Ltd and is also Non-Executive Chairman of two other network and software based companies. eMail David
 

John Bigerstaff - Chief Executive Officer

John is a software professional with over 30 years experience of real time computing, project management and developing technologies. A Chartered Engineer and Member of the Institution of Electrical Engineers, John has significant history and experience in project management and has also developed business relationships with a number of high profile clients.

John has played a major role in support of standards bodies, particularly within the Oil and Gas sector. He has also worked in the Automotive sector and developed a good understanding of dealer management systems integration throughout the UK, and Europe. eMail John
 

Karl Glenn - Business Development Director

Karl is a Sales and Marketing professional with 20 years experience within the IT industry; he leads sales and marketing at ETL and is also responsible for partnerships and alliances. He has experience of building successful relationships with companies such as JP Morgan, Shell, Procter and Gamble, HSBC, Schlumberger, RBS, and BAT.

Dr Ian France - Technical Director

Ian is responsible for the technical management, infrastructure and strategic direction of ETL's products.

Ian has over 20 years professional software development experience, ranging from a reporting system for a nuclear power station to a CRM system for a recruitment agency. With a strong engineering background Ian emphasizes correctness and robustness in the products he is responsible for.

Ian holds a BSc in Computer Science from York University, an MEng in Electronic Engineering from Bangor University and a Phd in Computer Science also from Bangor University. eMail Ian


Chris Griffin - Industry Solutions Consultant

Chris brings more than a decade of project planning, management and delivery experience to ETL. He has worked with clients on data management and integration projects across the the USA and UK. Chris has provided specialised solutions to complex data integration projects, within various sectors including Finance, Oil and Gas, Aerospace, Automotive and Supply chain.

Chris has also worked in the Automotive industry within vehicle production plants across Europe managing vehicle systems configuration and improving plant efficiency. eMail Chris
 

Andrew Smith – Automotive Consultant
Andrew is an automotive professional with over 31 years experience in after-sales, management and dealer management systems (DMS) such as ADP’s Kerridge Autoline and Kalamazoo’s KDMS.

Andrew’s practical and strategic background has enabled him to work on advanced information and automation projects within the automotive industry. Andrew’s knowledge is recognised and well respected by OEMs and dealerships alike.

He was responsible for increasing revenue by utilising DMS data and implementing strategic solutions that increased the sales of parts, managed stock, exploited after-sales opportunities and improved retailer based practices.
