ETL has long been a member of PPDM Association, and sees the value in their practical standards that embrace the major upstream E&P business needs.
The Professional Petroleum Data Management Association (PPDM) offers the promise of easy exchange of information between applications and organisations that subscribe to its data model.
Companies in the upstream world are increasingly under pressure to capture more data to run their businesses and meet growing compliance requirements. If all data can be expressed in PPDM and if all applications can consume PPDM then the days of hand coding fragile temporary links between systems are over. However the problem still exists of how to get the data into PPDM from vendor and legacy systems.
In some cases your current vendor may be able to assist; but what if you have a specific need outside of their current data model footprint, or from a non-standard data store?
That is where we come in.
Transformation Manager PPDM DataLoader
Transformation Manager (TM) PPDM DataLoader has all the functionality of TM with the PPDM ‘model pack’ already pre-loaded. TM has been used by organisations for many years and can integrate virtually any data found in the industry. Simply select the version of PPDM you require and load the non-PPDM data source. Using descriptive mapping language you are able to create a precise description of the link between the two data models. Only good data is stored using a robust series of filters. New models of PPDM can easily replace older versions. TM highlights elements that have changed enabling swift and accurate migrations.

PPDM DataPort
PPDM DataPort is aimed at any organisation that works with PPDM data. It is a solution for creating deployable data bridges between PPDM and other systems which can move data in either direction. There are a wide range of deployment models available, including one-time bulk data migration, scheduled events and near real-time interaction.
It is ideal for companies who don’t currently use PPDM or who use PPDM and want to link with existing non-PPDM systems. Software vendors and consultancies can also improve their integration capability to PPDM. An example is upgrading existing applications or importing PPDM data into their clients' information systems.
