As a member of our Managed Services team, you will assist with our provision of data migration and data integration services for clients worldwide. We are a co-op, so like all our employees, you will have the opportunity after your probationary period to become a part-owner of the company.
Your main objective is to ensure that live projects continue to run smoothly on a day-to-day basis. You will lead issue resolution through to completion, including liaising with the customer where appropriate. The role will also include assisting in the design and implementation change requests for live projects, based on customer requirements.
Additional development tasks may be required from time to time to assist in improving our service, or for specific customer projects.
The role requires a combination of consultant, support and developer skills.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as Postgres
- Experience of testing including structured debugging and resolution
- Ability to learn new technologies as required
- An interest in the commercial use of technology
- Self-motivation and the ability to use your initiative
- Ability to communicate professionally with customers
- Unix experience including bash shell scripting
- CI/build tools such as Jenkins and Maven
- Web development skills
